Stash Report - May 13, 2012

I have some great friends, both men and women, who aren't mothers in the true sense of the meaning, but they are great people who nurture, love, care for, encourage and teach others every day.   To everyone, I hope your day is extra special, with time spent with those who love you.

I was able to get this QOV quilt finished this week while working on a few other tops.  I love that it has the look of being 3 dimensional.

JudyL and Mary both have tutorials on making Carpenter Star quilts. I made my blocks a bit larger (8 inch finished), used two colors for the star and put on a piano border on instead of triangles. Super fast top to piece.

Used since last post - 16.57 yards
Used YTD - 202.24 yards

Added since last post - 0
Added YTD - 87 yards

Net Used YTD - 115.24 yards

Quilts finished in 2012 - 19

My goals for 2012 are simple~
1 - make one QOV each month.
Jan  Feb  Mar  Apr  May  June   July  Aug  Sept  Oct  Nov  Dec
2 - make one quilt for Ronald McDonald's House each month
Jan  Feb  Mar  Apr  May  Jun  July  Aug  Sept  Oct  Nov  Dec
3 - finish one already started quilt each month (have about 20 of these, some more than 3 years old)
Jan  Feb  Mar  Apr  May  Jun  July  Aug  Sept  Oct  Nov  Dec
4 - if I complete the above 3 goals each month I can start one new quilt
1

Need to work on #3 a bit more so I won't feel too guilty when I do #4.
