And it actually worked - you put a quarter in and you get out a few buttons. A fun way to keep a lot of buttons dust free.
Here are some pictures of the progress on the new house.
The front door is installed. It still needs to be stained. We are going to use some type of non-slip tile on the front porch.
The bricks are going on. They told us they would work in light rain and they figure it will take six weeks to lay all the bricks - 6 weeks seems like forever! Plus they will work weekends if they get rained out.
The basement is the same size as the 1st level, minus the garage. The house, minus the basement, is 1000 sq ft smaller than the house we have now. The electrical is waiting for an inspection, the HVAC and solar guys need to come out and run their pipes and wires, then we can put in the insulation, drywall and get the final electrical inspection. Then the floors, vanities and inside doors.
Inside sewing room - lots of pot lights plus two fans.
Finished 5 baby quilts #s 18-22 using Mollie's pattern. Only 10 more to go. I will be so glad to be finished with the poofy roll of batting, I do not like it at all.
I also pieced 9 blocks for my Modern Quilt by Tula Pink. Only 22 more to make. I am going to start sewing the black sashing around each block.

The house is really coming along. I love the color of the brick. Very pretty blocks, I look forward to seeing them all together in a quilt.
I LOVE the button container. It's so cute! I'm happy to see how far the house is coming. ~Melanie
What a great way to display buttons! I'm so glad you're "back" and like the update on your house. There has been a lot of progress--what fun! Your numbers just keep getting better!!
Love the buttons in the gum all machine. Great report!
