Linking up with Judy's stash report...
I finally finished my City Sampler quilt - 100 modern quilt blocks by Tula Pink.
It is 98 inches square before washing. 100 6 inch blocks. I have never made anything like this before.
This is the fabric I used for the sashing - the colors are closer to the above picture.
Modern quilts/blocks aren't my favorite. I prefer more traditional patterns. Though I have to admit that I did enjoy making this one. I think I might have one or two UFOs that are on the modern/improv side that I hope to finish next year. Bill said that this is his favorite quilt to date. He insisted that we sleep under it the first night it was finished, even before washing it.
Not sure what I am going to make with the 21 extra blocks. I thought I would need them to make the quilt bed size - I just made the sashing a bit wider instead. No two blocks are the same.
I have decided that any fabric that comes in between the last report of 2014 and the first report of 2015 will not be added to my numbers. It will be a great time to "re-stash" my fabric!
Since last report ~ ~
Fabric In - ZERO
Fabric Out - 21.75

Love your quilt!
Your quilt is stunning. I really like the sashing fabric. You did an outstanding job.
That is so pretty! I never would have guessed you were a traditional quilter. You have been making modern quilts lately. The pattern for this quilt makes the squares all come together.
Beautiful finish!
Congrats on the finish! Beautifully done, I really like the way you did the sashing. That's a lot of blocks!
Loove itttt! Instead of doing the BH mystery for Son-2 and DIL, I think this one would be more their style. Is it from one of her books?
Love your quilt - especially the grid formed by the sashing. Very striking.
And I really like how you plan to not count end of year fabric!
Wow, it's wonderful!! No wonder it was his favorite to date!! And hey -- what a little fabric between reports, right?? A girl's gotta build her stash, after all! :)
Great quilt! And enjoy your "re-stashing!"
Oh I like it!! Maybe a Mini quilt with the rest?
