August 9, 2014 - Baby Quilts and Stash Report

I was able to finish 7 more baby quilts this week (only 3 more to go)  using Mollie's Quick Strippie pattern.  If you haven't visited her free pattern page you are missing out on some really fun, easy and great looking quilts.  All these strippie quilts are going to Ronald's House.

Finally used the last of the poofy batting.

Finally finished all the blocks for my Modern Quilt by Tula Pink.

This is going to be one interesting quilt when it finished.

I bought 12 yards of fabric for the frames and sashing of the above quilt -
Colors are so hard to get to come out just right with my camera/computer. The bottom piece is a deep dark blue/green. Not gray!

Check out other stash reports on Judy's blog...

Added since last report - 12 yards
Added YTD - 45.12 yards
Used since last report - 33.5 yards
Used YTD - 342.96 yards

You have made awesome progress on your sewing. I love the strippie quilts. I have some pieces that would be perfect for this pattern. I will have to add some more fabric to my list to buy to make them. I look forward to seeing you Tula Pink blocks become a quilt.

Those are ambitious goals and you've made great progress. Clearly you've been spendind more time in the studio than I! But I feel a baby quilt comming on- received a shower invitation yesterday.
